Sir/Madam:
May God bless you and your family!
We the service providers of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) in the Municipality of Guiuan particularly in the Districts of Guiuan North, Guiuan East and Guiuan South are planning to conduct a Completion Rites for our learner-completers usually held after six months of regular attendance to our ALS programs.
The fact that some if not all of these said completers belong to indigent families in their respective barangays wherein most of them are breadwinners is the primordial reason why they resort to an alternative mode of learning where they could effectively go through their livelihood without sacrificing their education.
To this extent, we the ALS implementers would like to establish an impression to our target clienteles that Alternative Learning System in Guiuan is accessible and affordable as well.
Towards this end, we the undersigned are earnestly seeking assistance from you as our benevolent benefactor (in cash or in kind) that would eventually count to the realization of the above completion Rites.
In the name of our hundred learners, we salute your generous attitude of charity and support to this endeavor.
Thank you and more power.

Sir/Madam:
May God bless you and your family!
The Alternative Learning System service providers in the Municipality of Guiuan particularly in the District of Guiuan South aim at providing quality and excellent basic education to out-of-school youth (OSY), out-of-school adults (OSA) and out-of-school children (OSC) who are deprived of formal schooling due to underlying reasons beyond their human capacity to control.
In our march towards this end, one of the constraints that beset us is the absence of an ALS office where we can safely keep our learning modules, documents and other educational materials needed in keeping track the progress and development of our learners.
In this connection, our new District Head identified a building for this purpose within the campus of Cantahay Elementary School, which is currently in need of major repair/renovation.
At this juncture, we the ALS implementers of Guiuan South District vehemently seek your valuable assistance may it be in cash or in kind for the major repair of this Multi-Purpose Building so that part of it will be utilized as an ALS Office wherein as a matter of policy, should be proximate to the District Office .
Rest assured that you as our benevolent benefactor would surely be long- remembered for your tangible contribution that would eventually count to the realization of our plan of establishing an ALS Office.
In the name of our hundred learners, we salute your generous attitude of charity and support to this endeavor
Thank you and more power.

Sir:
We, the implementers of the Alternative Learning System of Guiuan South District have currently established an ALS office inside the Campus of the Cantahay Elementary School with the policy that ALS Office should be proximate with the administrative center of the district.
In this regard, the said office is almost ready for occupation only that the necessary furniture that will make it operational and facilitate office transactions are still lacking and somehow beyond the capacity of the ALS implementers to provide.
At this juncture, we deemed it not only best but necessary to request your good office for the needed furniture such as but not limited to two (2) office tables, two (2) chairs and one (1) office cabinet to safely keep our learning modules, documents and other educational materials needed in keeping track the progress and development of our learners.
We prayerfully hope that this request be accorded with your utmost consideration and immediate action for we adamantly believe that our common goal is the best services we could possibly offer to our economically and educationally deprived clientele.
Thank you and more power.
Very truly yours,

-SOLICITATION LETTER-
Dear Sir/Madam:
May God bless you and your family!
We, the learners of the Alternative Learning System of the Guiuan South District particularly enrolled in the Accreditation and Equivalency Program both elementary and secondary levels composed of out-of-school youth and adults of Barangay Cantahay, Guiuan, Eastern Samar are planning to invite the extension program facilitators of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) based at Balangiga, Eastern Samar to implement any skills development and technical education expansion program in our Barangay.
The fact that some if not all of us belong to indigent families in our own Barangay wherein most of us are breadwinners is the primordial reason why we resort to an alternative mode of learning where we could effectively go through our livelihood without sacrificing further education.
Likewise, this livelihood training particularly on commercial cooking as well as food and beverage service will become an integral part of the A & E program instruction to supplement as well as upgrade our ability, knowledge and behavior pattern which we can eventually apply as we try to embark on either educational or entrepreneurial endeavor after finishing the ten (10) months program of the ALS.
In this connection, we would like to knock at your doorstep as our philanthropic benefactor by asking for a monetary assistance to purchase the needed materials and/or ingredients which will be used in the return demo as part of the assessment phase with the estimated cost of Five Thousand pesos (P5, 000.00).
We firmly believe that one of your major agenda as public servant is the education and skills development of your people so that they become productive and responsible citizens who contribute their share in making our place peaceful, progressive and more fun to live in.
In the name of our fellow ALS learners, we salute your generous attitude of charity and support to this endeavor.
Thank you and more power.

In our march towards this end, one of the constraints that beset us in the conduct of ALS classes is poor attendance, considering the unhappy fact that some if not all of our clientele are parents who are working for their day to day consumption and other basic needs.
In this connection, the ALS Coordinator deemed it not only best but necessary to implement literacy cum livelihood program to encourage working parents to attend classes in the ALS at the same time acquire practical skills that will be used as a source of additional income for their family.
At this juncture, the District ALS Coordinator of Guiuan South District vehemently seek your valuable assistance may it be in cash or in kind for the successful implementation of the proposed literacy cum livelihood program domestically designed to productively utilize our local resources as a source of revenue for our economically divested Barangay constituents.
Rest assured that you as our benevolent stakeholder would surely be long- remembered for your substantial contribution that would eventually count for the realization of our goal of providing quality basic education and lifelong skills to our educationally deprived clientele.
